1904
CHAPUIS was founded by Jules Chapuis.
Located in the Plancher-Bas mining valley (Haute-Saône), it used to produce watch squares.
Its activity rapidly diversified to the production of chains and other metal accessories.

1938
CHAPUIS developed chain production, proposing many different models.

1992
CHAPUIS turned towards trading and service to meet customers’ requirements.

2003-2004
A new factory was built to enable the company to develop.
This new facility, again in Plancher-Bas, provides CHAPUIS with 6 300 m2 warehouse space and 700 m2 office space.
